Hey stepmom, how are you doing? We survived Thanksgiving and all the emotions that come with it, but we’re not through the holidays yet. Christmas is coming, then New Year’s, and with all of that comes change. Kids are home, routines shift, expectations rise, and if you’re traveling like we are, it can feel like everything is happening at once.

It’s a lot.

So, how are you holding up? What are you doing for yourself in the middle of all of this? Take a moment to check in with your own heart. You deserve that pause, that breath, that bit of space.

What is one thing you’re looking forward to that is just yours, or yours and your husband’s? Something sma

ll, simple, grounding. Something that reminds you that you are a whole person, not just the one holding everything together.

Don’t neglect yourself in this busy time when you feel like you’re being pulled in one million different directions. You matter too. Your needs, your joy, your peace… all of it deserves attention.

And if this season feels heavier than you expected, you’re not alone. I’m right there with you, finding my way, offering you permission to slow down and take care of you.
