Finding My Words Again.

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here, hasn’t it? When I last wrote, I mentioned that I had some thoughts brewing. That was true then, and it’s still true now, but sometimes those thoughts take longer to full develop than I expect.

The truth is, I needed some quiet. Life has been full in both beautiful and hard ways, and I wasn’t sure how to put words to it all. I didn’t want to force something that wasn’t ready, so I chose silence for a season. As you may know, stepmom life can be beautiful and hard all at once, and sometimes, it’s easier to stay quiet and face some of the realities.

But lately, I’ve felt a nudge to start writing again. To stop waiting until things feel perfectly clear and just begin sharing where I’m at, with the things I know to be true and the things I’m still learning.

So, here I am. Ready to find my words again. Ready to talk about what’s been on my heart, and ready to invite you into those conversations too. I would love to hear from you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Over the next little while, I’ll be sharing pieces of what I have been learning and creating. Some of it will be personal reflections, some will be encouragement for you, and some will be the project I hinted at before.

I’m grateful you’re still here. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve lost your words, maybe you understand where I’m coming from. And maybe we can find them again together.
